We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, Waste and Recycling Promotions Officer in our Environmental Services Team.
About You!
You will be responsible for helping to boost recycling rates across the Borough, by engaging and supporting residents to make sure they are fully engaged with the Boroughs waste collection service. You will also play a key role in the introduction of food waste collections across West Lancashire.
You will work with local communities through targeted education campaigns, including working with schools and community groups.
You will be a team player, have the ability to work with minimal supervision, have excellent communication skills, have the ability to act as an advocate and deal sympathetically and empathetically with a wide range of customers.
