We are recruiting 3 x International Trade Documentation Specialists to join our award-winning team of 20 dedicated experts based at Leigh Court in Bristol on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skills in a people-focused business and build a fulfilling career in international trade.
We have three exciting roles available:
1. Documentation Specialist – processing Certificates of Origin, commercial invoices, and other export documentation.
2. ATA Carnets Specialist – focusing on processing ATA Carnets for temporary exports.
3. ATA Carnet Claims Specialist – managing overseas customs claims relating to ATA Carnets and supporting Carnet processing.
The Roles
In all three positions, you will assist customers with their export documentation needs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities across the roles include:
- Undertaking training with Business West and the British Chambers of Commerce (and the UK National ATA Carnet Organisation where relevant) to become an authorised signatory.
- Processing and issuing export documentation, liaising with freight forwarders, embassies, consulates, and other third parties.
- Responding promptly and effectively to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Prioritising workloads to meet strict deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.
- Supporting exporters using electronic certification systems (SGS Ecert).
- Handling incoming applications, correspondence, and post.
Additional role-specific responsibilities:
- ATA Carnet Specialist – Thoroughly check, process, and issue ATA Carnets in both printed and digital formats; carry out discharging procedures for returned Carnets.
- ATA Carnet Claims Specialist – Deal with and respond to claims from foreign customs promptly; advise customers on best practices to prevent claims; maintain detailed claim records.
About You – Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in administration or customer service.
- Experience processing accurate documentation/forms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work at speed.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident user of Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and CRM systems.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications.
- Knowledge of export processes/procedures and international trade terms is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided.

- £25,500–£26,500 depending on experience, plus £1,000 increase after successful probation and completion of training.
