White and Company established in 1871 are one of the longest running and most successful house removal companies in the UK.
Summary
Are you an experienced driver looking for a change? Or a newly qualified class 2 driver? As a removals driver with White and company you will work as part of a team carrying out house hold removals, locally, long distance and in mainland Europe after a qualifying period. We are looking for a class 2 Hgv driver to join our team in Lancaster. We will also consider 7.5 tonne and class one drivers.
Responsibilities
Driving class c rigid removals vehicles.
Carrrying out house hold removals with a removals porter.
Packing house hold effects and loading unloading vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service.
Long distance removals expected 2-3 night out away per week
Monday to Friday normal working with occasional weekend working
Basic 45 hour working hours with a 7am start
Salary
Basic wage from £34515 per annum
Overtime available £14.75 to £18.90 per hour
Night out allowance £40
Attendance bonus
20 days paid holiday per year plus bank holidays
