Applications are invited from Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) practitioners interested in being placed on our supply register to cover short term and longer fixed term placements in Early Learning and Childcare sector. East Renfrewshire ELC settings are open from 8am - 6pm with nursery classes operating during school term time and family centres open throughout the year.
On completion of additional years of service by 1 January of each year, following the anniversary of the date of appointment, your term time salary will be adjusted to include a payment in lieu of the additional leave day accrued at the beginning of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
