Crynodeb
Cothrom Òg nursery provides childcare and early years education for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. The Nursery manager will take responsibility for all aspects of the management of the nursery, ensuring that a high quality Gaelic Medium childcare service is provided for all the children and their families. The Nursery Manager will work closely with the Cothrom Manager to integrate into the wider Cothrom adult learning services and to work within the wider community.
You must have knowledge and understanding of the Curriculum for Excellence, National Care Standards, Realising the Ambition and the Quality Improvement Framework for the Early Learning and Childcare Sectors. The ability to plan and implement a curriculum through short, medium and long term planning is essential.
It is essential that you hold a qualification that meets the requirements for the SSSC for practitioner/managers, or you must be willing to gain an appropriate qualification.
Fluency in Gaelic is essential.
