What skills and experience we're looking for
• Safeguarding Awareness Training (previously known as Level 2)
• Designated Safeguarding Lead Course
• Studied to a minimum standard of GCSE (grad A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths
• A Levels or equivalent qualifications
• Level 3 Child Protection certified
• Experience of working with vulnerable children and/or adults
• Experience of working in a school environment
• Experience in training others
• Knowledge of how to work with families experiencing difficulties
• Experience of working with families whom require additional support
• An understanding, or willingness to learn, about local authority practices regarding safeguarding
