Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant specializing in Building Physics to join our growing team in London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing services and delivering advanced building physics consultancy services, with a focus on energy modeling, double materiality assessments, and sustainable design strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage building physics projects from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions.
- Conduct detailed energy modeling and analysis using tools such as IES to optimize building performance.
- Perform double materiality assessments to evaluate the environmental and financial impacts of building materials and design choices.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate building physics principles into MNE (Mechanical, Electrical, and Environmental) engineering projects.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and contribute to the development of the building physics practice.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and maintain strong professional relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Chartered status in a relevant field (e.g., CEng, CEnv).
- Extensive experience in building physics consultancy, with a strong focus on energy modeling and sustainability.
- Proficiency in using energy modeling software, particularly IES.
- Level 5 NDEA qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting double materiality assessments.
- Strong knowledge of MNE systems and their integration with building physics principles.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
