About the Role:Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Vehicle Fitters for a leading and rapidly growing automotive company based in the South West. In this role, you will work on new vehicles, stripping and refitting them to meet customer mobility access specifications. This hands-on position requires daily use of hand tools.
Previous qualifications like an NVQ or Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair are advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Strip and refit vehicles to customer specifications.
- Use hand tools safely and effectively on a daily basis.
- Ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment.
- Proven experience with hand tools (essential).
- Passion for vehicles, cars, or motorbikes.
- Previous automotive or trade experience is a bonus but not required.
- Good attention to detail and reliability.
- £12.24 per hour, with overtime paid at time and a half for hours over 40 per week.
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
- Temporary role with the possibility of permanent employment.
