Owen Payne Recruitment are currently looking to recruit three motivated and experienced Team Leaders to join our growing Client in Walsall . This

Reporting to the Works Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the daily supervision of your department, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality output, and safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support your team to deliver efficient and high-standard production.
• Organise and prioritise daily tasks, providing clear instruction to team members.
• Maintain strict quality control across all work leaving your department.
• Accurately record work completed, materials used, and staff attendance.
• Train team members to ensure work is carried out correctly and efficiently.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment; take prompt action to address any hazards or unsafe behaviour.
• Identify training needs and suggest regrading where appropriate.
• Assist with coordinating workflow across all factory areas and support staff allocation as needed.
• Support the daily start-up and shutdown of factory operations, including security checks and reporting any issues to management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a team leader/supervisory role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and health & safety standards.
• A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Reliability and flexibility, including willingness to support out-of-hours operations when needed.

Hours & Pay:

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Overtime: Available and paid accordingly
Pay: £16.32 per hour
