Summary
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Facility Engineer role in a UK-based Information Technology & Services company. The organization provides end-to-end data center lifecycle services to clients across various sectors, including internet, OEM/ODM server manufacturing, telecom, finance, government, and enterprise. They are looking for candidates with a background in HVAC or Electrical systems, and welcome applications from recent graduates.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering-related fields or higher;
Have one year or more of relevant work experience.
Ability to react rapidly to crises and reach the site for assistance;
Excellent oral and written communication abilities in Chinese and English;
Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, and weak power systems;
Ability to identify the root causes and implement efficient solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the data center’s electrical, HVAC, and weak power systems.
Conduct routine checks of platform alarm settings and ensure ongoing system stability.
Diagnose issues and implement improvements within the electrical, HVAC, and low-voltage infrastructure.
Respond swiftly to emergencies and coordinate repairs in accordance with the Emergency Operation Plan (EOP).
Perform, review, and document regular facility inspections.
