Job objectives and responsibilitiesThe Technical Supervisor will be responsible for resources and materials to conduct all operations, installations, and maintenance, to achieve and sustain an optimum working environment for building users and tenants. They will manage all the direct reports and subcontracted resources as necessary and liaise with client representatives throughout maintenance tasks. In addition, this role will hold responsibility for the collection, quality and analysis of data held within Mozaic, offering strategic insight to create efficiencies and improve asset lifecycle in conjunction with the Account Manager.



Main Duties

• Responsible for the contract performance and the quality of service delivered.• Ensure our engineers are completing all PPM and reactive task in line with the agreed service levels and with statutory regulation.• Provide technical advice to the General Manager.• Build and maintain a working relationship with your Building and Estates Team.• Promote and ensure health and safety is never compromised.• Issue the relevant permits and ensure planned works are progressed in a timely manner.• Ensure the team's paperwork is up to date and correctly completed.• Carry out audits and Tool Box Talks, as required.• Assisting the Account Manager to achieve contract KPIs.• Bring innovation to the contract to improve the current systems.• To continually promote and support a “team spirit” within the maintenance team. To recognise the importance of the teamwork in achieving the departmental objectives and to contribute effectively.• Identify additional training needs of current staff to improve team capability and contract delivery.• Procure materials and equipment to carry out works.• Proactively reduce energy consumption on site.• Schedule PDA jobs to engineers and ensure up to date completion of PDA requests.• Ensure statutory and non-statutory logs are kept up to date (including emergency lighting and Fan Coil Units).• Control of water testing regimes and upkeep of the water log book.• Ensuring compliance to the Company's and Clients Permit to Work Systems.• Assist other team members when required.• All duties carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.



Person Specification

• Industry/Professional Technical qualifications relevant to the Estate.• Qualified to City & Guilds 18th Edition or equivalent in relevant disciplines to role.• Excellent technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems and knowledge of general building repairs and maintenance.• Excellent communication skills and ability to culture and maintain client confidence.• Excellent Customer Service experience preferably with an emphasis on dealing with customers and clients both face to face, through email and over the phone.• A professional attitude in all areas of the job role with the ability to challenge issues comprehensively and resolve them effectively.• An ability to work efficiently within a team as well as under their own initiative in a demanding environment where accuracy is paramount.• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.• Enthusiastic and Hard working.• IOSH Certified.
