Crynodeb
Day to day duties would include seeing a list of complex patients, supporting staff through incidences and raising concerns to lead nurse, training and supporting staff in obtaining further skills, having supervision and 1:1's with staff to enable them to reach their full potential, adopting and promoting best practice, scheduling visits for the week, coordinating a shift, working closely with band 6 and 7 colleagues to deliver a high level of patient care. There would be a high level of support and guidance for the successful applicant from the lead nurse within the team and band 6 colleagues.Previous Band 6 experience relevant to the role will be an advantage, but full training and support will be given. You will be supported in developing your own clinical and leadership practice by the Band 7 nurse lead and your peer band 6 nurses and will have the opportunity to be involved with local and service wide development or innovation.
