We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client portfolio within the security and facilities management sectors. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a professional with a proven track record in B2B sales within these specific industries to make a significant impact on our continued expansion.

Position Details

• Job Title: Business Development Manager (Security & Facilities Management)
• Location: West Midlands or Southeast based (Hybrid remote with weekly meetings in our Shrewsbury office)
• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (based on experience) + uncapped commission structure
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new contracts with clients across public sector, commercial real estate, and critical infrastructure sectors to achieve annual growth targets of £500K+ in new business.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including facilities directors, site managers, and security leads to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.

Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, new opportunities, and competitive activity within the security and facilities management landscape.

Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and closing, utilizing CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for accurate pipeline management and reporting.

Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and maintain service excellence throughout the contract lifecycle.

Progress Reporting: Attend weekly progress meetings at our Shrewsbury office to review performance, pipeline development, and strategic initiatives.
