Electrician - HMP Brixton
-Salary £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
-39 hour week
-Pension and Life Insurance
-25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Main duties
· To provide electrical service, maintenance and reactive jobs including call outs as required for HMP Brixton
Person Specification
· Need strong Electrical background for maintenance and strong fault finding skills , with 3-5 years experience.
· Relevant Electrical Technical Qualifications 18thedition eg: City & Guilds
· Reactive work - PPM's (planned work) - breakdown and fault finding work
· New small work install and test
· Clear communicator both oral and written
· Able to build relationships with internal and external customers
· Live within a commutable distance to HMP Brixton.
· Pass Prison Service Vetting
Shift Pattern
-Mon - Thur 0800-1700
-Fri 0800-1600
-On call 1 week in 3
-On call allowance £100 per week
-Work 1 weekend in 6
-25 days annual leave
-Plus bank holidays
