Summary
Ambassadors Resourcing is looking to expand our team of experienced full-time Level 2 & Level 3 Ealy Years Practitioners to work in temporary, short-term or long-term positions in a number of very popular day nurseries across the Birmingham area.
Job Description:
• The successful Early Years Practitioners will:
• Show a passion for working with children in the Early Years and understand the
importance of meeting every child’s individual needs and interests
• Provide and support exciting, imaginative, creative activities and play
opportunities
• Follow the policies and procedures, including the Safeguarding policies and
procedures of Ambassadors Resourcing and the setting
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues, parents, children and outside
agencies, demonstrating excellent communication skills
• Actively promote and support the safeguarding of all children, ensuring that at
all times the policies and procedures of the schools and Ambassadors
Resourcing are observed and responsibilities are understood
Requirements:
• The successful Early Years Practitioners:
• Must have a Level 2 or 3 in Child Care and Education or the equivalent
• Must have or obtain after interview an enhanced DBS and Overseas Police
Clearances (if applicable) and have a legal right to work in the country
• Must have acceptable reference checks covering the previous 2 years from
previous employers, including one from a childcare & education setting and/or
educational institutions
• Will be subject to Check a Teacher’s Record & an online search as part of
Ambassadors Resourcing Safer Recruitment check
• Will attend a face to face interview which will include questions about
safeguarding and the candidate’s understanding of working with children
