Location: Must be located around Stanford Le Hope, Essex area. Primarily working around London and surrounding areas (travel across the UK may be required)
Salary: £15 per hour (minimum 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Contract: Full-time, employed

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Installation Assistant to join our team and work alongside one of our experienced engineers. This is a full-time employed role offering stability, regular hours, and the opportunity to grow within the company.

You’ll be an essential part of our installations team, supporting with day-to-day site tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the installation of roller shutters, steel doors, fire shutters, and security grilles.

Supporting site surveys by taking measurements, recording details, and preparing equipment.

Handling tools, fixings, and materials safely and efficiently.

Ensuring work areas are kept tidy, safe, and compliant with Health & Safety standards.

Helping to load, transport, and position products on-site.

Working as part of a team to complete installations on time and to a high standard.

Representing Security Direct in a professional and courteous manner with clients.

Skills & Requirements

Practical, hands-on skills with tools and fixings (training provided where necessary).

A good work ethic and willingness to learn.

Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team.

Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting.

Punctual, reliable, and committed to site schedules.

Valid CSCS card (preferred) and willingness to obtain other site qualifications (IPAF, SSSTS, etc.).

Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential.

Competitive Pay: £15 per hour (£33,150 per year based on 42.5 hours/week).
