Overview;
Immediate start HGV Class 1 Driver, Ongoing work or Temp to Perm available
Shift pattern; Monday to Friday with optional weekend work - £17.37 to £20.17 per hour, starting ASAP.
PAY;
HGV Class 1 Driver Pay Rates below:
• Days Mon to Fri £17.37
• Weekends Days £20.17
With Holiday pay factored in, standard pay rate is £15.50 to £18.00 per hour
You will also be entered into a pension scheme after qualifying period all manageable by you through our App. Holiday payments can also be managed through our app allowing you complete control.
Job Description;
As an HGV Class 1 driver your duties will include the following -
• Daily Vehicle checks
• Store deliveries and trunking involved
• Multi-drop with handball involved (rolling cages)
• Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends
• Manual entries must be done for Digi Taco Cards
• A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
• Ability to complete an assessment prior to work starting
Start times are between 06:30am to 07.30am.
We also have Adhoc shifts available on Saturday's & Sundays if you so chose
Our customer is a large blue chip distribution company that offers general haulage & pallet network work as well as offering 3PL services to one of the world’s largest internet businesses running trunking routes back and forth to RDC's all over the UK.
They also offer 3pl services to one of the UK’s largest food production companies that run store trunks and multidrop (up to 5 per shift) distribution between sites to support their RDC, CDC & NDC operations. To be considered for this job role you will require;
• A Valid UK HGV Licence
• A Valid UK Digital tacho card
• A Valid UK DQC card
