We are now looking for a Drafts Person to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role
As a Drafts Person, you’ll transform customer requirements into detailed, accurate designs that meet technical and manufacturing standards.
Working closely with the Sales Team, engineers, and customers, you’ll ensure each project delivers a practical and fit-for-purpose solution that achieves high levels of customer satisfaction.
You’ll produce original and adapted designs using 2D/3D CAD tools, select appropriate materials, consider manufacturing needs, and prepare full drawing packages to support production.
Additionally, you will:
- Respond professionally to customer and internal enquiries within agreed timescales
- Maintain and update the drawings database
- Stay informed on new material technologies and design developments
About You
To be considered as a Drafts Person, you will need:
- At least one year’s experience using a 3D computer aided design software package
- Knowledge of design and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 2D/3D CAD and DraftSight or equivalent
- Mathematical skills to a minimum of NVQ Level 3
- At a minimum, AS/A-Levels or equivalent
