The Waste and Street Scene department requires enthusiastic and committed mobile street cleansing operative to join our hardworking and enthusiastic team.
We are currently looking for a Mobile Cleansing Operative to join our Northallerton team. Our staff undertake duties across a range of urban and rural locations.
The Role
Duties will involve driving a 3.5-ton vehicle, litter picking, the collection of litter and dog bins and any other duties commensurate with the role.
We aim to provide the best possible service to our residents; therefore, it will be necessary to have a good understanding of the importance of a high level of customer care. A full uniform will be provided. We can offer you a standard working pattern of 6.15 am to 4.15 pm over a 4-day working week, including weekends on a rota basis. However, we do ask that you have a flexible approach to working hours with occasional out of hours work when required optional overtime is available on a regular basis.
What’s in it for you
In addition to your salary, we offer a range of great benefits to help you financially make life a bit easier. We also offer a generous annual leave and pension scheme, green car and cycle schemes, travel loans, shopping and gym discounts to name but a few you can find more information on the range of benefits we offer within our total rewards brochure.
