Pay rate: £16.00 to £19.00 per hour PAYE, DOE
Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 3 months
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working, 2 days required in office.

The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Junior Surveyor with experience in Landlord, Tenant and Commercial Properties.
You will assist with the day-to-day management of the council’s properties, supporting senior colleagues in all aspects of landlord and tenancy work.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Negotiating lease renewals, rent reviews, assignments, and licences.
Managing landlord and tenant relationships across a range of commercial properties.
Assisting in property inspections, valuations, and disposals.
Supporting income generation through effective asset management.
Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and best practice in property management.
What the client is looking for:
A relevant degree or working towards RICS qualification (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge and practical experience in landlord & tenant matters.
Familiarity with commercial property management.
Strong negotiation, organisational, and communication skills.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
