Crynodeb
Medway Community Primary School currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide reading support to Roma children. This is a Fixed term contract for a year, term time. You will be required to work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 11.00am to 2.00pm.
Job overview
You’ll be responsible for supporting Roma children with their reading. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students’ learning needs are being met.
Job requirements
A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths
Ability to speak an Eastern European language is desirable.
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff
Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students
