Are you an organised, detail‑oriented individual with excellent communication skills? Would you enjoy supporting the strategic leadership of our school and ensuring compliance with governance regulations? Stanley Park Junior School are seeking a dedicated Clerk to the Governors to provide professional administrative and advisory support to our Governing Body.Stanley Park Junior School is unique for its supportive, nurturing atmosphere where all staff work collaboratively to ensure that our children get the best possible experience whilst at our school. We are a Foundation School in the London Borough of Sutton and were rated 'Good' in our last Ofsted in September 2023. We are a successful, caring, and happy school that prides itself on a strong and stable staff team. Key Responsibilities:Provide effective advice on governance, procedure, and legislationPrepare agendas and supporting documents for meetingsAttend and accurately record minutes of FGB and committee meetingsMaintain governor records, registers of interests, and statutory documentsManage clerking communications and deadlinesEnsure confidentiality is upheldWhat We’re Looking For:Proven clerking or similar administrative experienceStrong verbal and written communicationExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailDiscretion and confidentialityKnowledge of education governance Good interpersonal skills and a sense of humourWhat We Offer:Professional development opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsA supportive and forward-thinking teamThis is a zero hours contract and all work completed will be claimed a month in arreas.
