Summary
Ward 8A is a 19 bedded infectious diseases/High Consequence Infectious Diseases unit.
Band 3 HCAs will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, blood glucose levels, venepuncture and canulation, providing personal hygiene care, pressure area care and supporting the Registered Nurses with managing patient care.
Excellent communication, organisation and use of initiative is essential for the role + Minimal experience of 2 years as a Band 2 HCA or equivalent.
