Salary: £31,925 - £44,506 pro rata

£12,770 up to £17,802 actual salary, for an exceptional candidate. This includes a 10% recruitment incentive

Hours: 14.8 hours per week
Location: Castleford College

We have an amazing opportunity in to teach our enthusiastic and motivated students and help them achieve their highest potential. Working as part of our Construction team, you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all learners successfully achieve their goals.

As a Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment you will:


Produce and manage every learner’s individual learning plan to ensure they achieve their highest potential
Promote student progress, engagement and achievement, and ensure a high quality student experience
Develop and produce high quality learning materials


We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.

You will have:


Level 4 qualification in Construction
GCSE in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
Experience of teaching Construction or a similar Level 3 qualification
A PGCE or recognised full teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
