Due to continued growth and expansion we are currently recruiting for a Checkpoint Coordinator to be based at our Bicker depot.
In this role you will be working within a small team, responsible for controlling information and vehicle flow on to site, together with providing administration support in relation to fleet.
The main duties of this position are:
• Allocate bay to incoming vehicles
• Trailer allocation
• Support effective channels of communication with suppliers, colleagues, customers and their representatives
• Ensure system compliance is followed and completed in full at all times and all non-conformances are captured / measured and reported.
• Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practice across the operation.
• Control of vehicles for servicing, repair, cleaning
• Liaising with driver, internal workshop and external recovery for accidents and breakdowns off site
• Booking 3rd Part Contractors such as windscreen and tyre fitters
The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative to strict and tight deadlines whilst maintaining professionalism and high standards. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy is crucial to this role.
This is a part time position working 3/4 days per week, Sunday – Tuesday with alternating Wednesday. Hours 6am – 6pm.
