The Best Connection are currently seeking a reliable Van Driver (Cat B) to join our client based in Eastbourne. This role involves delivering and collecting goods from residential properties, so good customer service skills and a professional approach are essential. This role is a hybrid role split between Eastbourne and Newhaven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out deliveries and collections to residential addresses.
- Loading and unloading the vehicle, including heavy lifting of goods.
- Ensuring items are collected delivered safely and securely.
- Carrying out pre and post-vehicle checks.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Loading and unloading the vehicle in and out of the warehouse.
- A valid UK Category B driving licence.
- Previous multi-drop or delivery experience is required.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling/heavy lifting.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Competitive hourly rate (details provided at registration).
- Weekly pay (every Friday).
