A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Service Advisor to join a well-established business.
The successful applicant will work 42.5 hours per week during the core working hours of 8.30 - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, earning a competitive salary. This could also suit a job share between two people for the right candidates. There is a real opportunity to grow within the role, especially looking into social media marketing.
The Service Advisor will work closely with the current team in providing office support. Their main duties will include, but not be limited to:
• General office maintenance such as producing business documents and inputting data
• Processing of invoices, purchase orders and quotations.
• Checking emails, answering the phone and dealing with queries appropriately
• Passing jobs to mechanics and managing the diary system
• Dealing with customer service enquiries
The successful Service Advisor will receive training where necessary but will have a ‘Can Do’ attitude. A good understanding of motor vehicles and basic principles of mechanics desirable, but not essential as training can be provided. In addition, the following skills and experience are desirable:
• IT literate using Word, Excel
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with excellent telephone manner
• The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
• Flexible approach to tasks, with the ability to work alone and as part of a small team
• Good work ethic
