Motor Vehicle Technician/Mot Tester
Permanent / Full Time position Monday – Friday 8:30-5:30.
At Jim Steel Garage we are a local, family run business looking to grow our team. As a garage we aim to have a positive impact on our community and strive to elevate our reputation.
We are looking for a Full Skilled technician and MOT Tester to join our team who is self-motivated and would like to develop their skill set. Someone with high energy, willing to work to a high standard and able to follow instruction.
Not essential to have Motor Vehicle Engineering City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 qualification as training will be given however must have experience working in a garage environment.
Ideally you will have a full driving licence but again not essential as training can be given.
As a Motor Vehicle Technician your day-to-day tasks will include services: maintaining vehicles to our brand standards whist complying with regulation. Repairing and fitting brakes, exhausts and tyres with the opportunity to advance and progress.
This job is a perfect opportunity to develop and grow within an independent workshop as our garage attracts a wide range of jobs therefore there is plenty to see and skills to be learnt. We have a range of advanced diagnostic equipment which is used on a day-to-day basis which we can teach and train you on.
