Salary: £24.50 per hour

Are you an experienced Nurse with strong leadership skills, looking for your next step in management? We are recruiting for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a well-established Nursing Home in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career while making a real difference to residents’ lives.

About the Role

As our Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home and the highest quality of nursing care. You will take on day-to-day management responsibilities, oversee the care team, and step up in the Home Manager’s absence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, supervising, and developing the care and nursing team.


  • Supporting with pre-admission assessments and care planning.


  • Ensuring care plans and daily records are accurate and up to date.


  • Promoting safeguarding, safety, and compliance with CQC standards.


  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.


    Skills & Experience

    • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or senior Nurse in a care or nursing home setting.


    • NMC Registered Nurse (essential).


    • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding pathways.


    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.


    • A genuine passion for providing person-centred care.
