Night Team Leader – Cotleigh Residential Care Home, Sheffield
Salary: £14.23 per hour
Hours: 27.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 7:30pm – 7:30am | 2 shifts one week, 3 the next (including alternate weekends and some bank holidays)

We’re looking for a Night Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Cotleigh Residential Care Home in Sheffield, part of Sheffcare – a well-established local charity with a proud history of providing quality care.
What you’ll do:
As a Night Team Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering high standards of care throughout the night. You’ll:
Lead and support night care staff
Coordinate and review individual care plans
Take responsibility as Duty Manager when required
Supervise, develop, and appraise team members
Ensure residents receive compassionate, person-centred care
Promote and uphold Sheffcare’s values in everything you do
Support new admissions and respond to heightened needs appropriately
Record care and handover information using mobile technology
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced: Minimum 1 year in a similar leadership role
A strong communicator who can build trust and rapport
Organised with great time management
Solution-focused and adaptable to changing needs
Supportive, approachable, and empathetic
Confident using basic technology (e.g. smartphones/tablets)
Committed to learning and development
Able to respond effectively to challenges during night shifts

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
You’ll need to provide a 5-year employment history (or longer if you’ve previously worked in social care).
We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
You must also be available to attend occasional mandatory daytime training sessions (e.g. First Aid). These will be scheduled with plenty of notice.
