As a Catering Assistant / Barista with ISS UK, you will be at the forefront of delivering a world class service, all the while being a positive influence on each customers day.
As a key member of the catering team, you will support the Chef Manager in delivering exceptional food and beverage services. This role focuses on providing a welcoming front-of-house experience, preparing and presenting food and drinks (including barista duties), and ensuring our customers feel well looked after in a clean, organised, and friendly environment.
The Role
Deliver excellent customer service at the front of house, serving food and beverages in a professional manner.
Operate coffee machines and prepare high-quality barista-style drinks.
Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of counters, service areas, and dining spaces.
Restock and display food and drink items attractively and efficiently.
Support with general cleaning duties, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met at all times.
Respond to customer queries and requests in a friendly, helpful, and professional way.
Keep storerooms and work areas tidy, clean, and well-organised.
About You
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.
Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
Team player with the ability to take initiative when needed.
Calm, adaptable, and able to perform well under pressure.
Quick to learn with good attention to detail.
Previous experience in catering, food service, or barista roles is desirable.
