A Vacancy at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Exciting opportunity for registered professionals to join the Greater Manchester Liaison and Diversion service as a lead practitioner working in the Greater Manchester Crown Courts.
The role predominately is as a duty role supporting colleagues with caseloads across 3 Crown Courts (Bolton, Crown Square and Minshull Street).
It is expected that the post holder will spend 80% of their time in the delivery of direct/indirect clinical care. The post holder will be expected to support the leadership group and will be responsible for the day to day running of the service.
The main duties of the Crown Court Lead practitioner; providing advice, screening, assessment, and formulation for individuals involved in the criminal justice process who have or suspected to have a vulnerability. The practitioners provide the critical information to the decisions makers timely during the sentencing process. The crown court practitioners also act as a point of referral and liaison to ensure that the appropriate support and/ or treatment is in place.
