A great opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team as an Office Administrator for Berry Gifford Ltd based in our Head Office in Tamworth. Our company run Ofsted Registered Childrens Homes around the Midlands, which provide safe and comfortable homes for children between the ages of 7 and 17.

Role Responsibilities:
• Provide an efficient telephone and reception service for the business, monitoring calls and emails that need responding to.
• Working with the management team to respond to referrals from local authorities for potential new intake, ensuring all relevant documentation has been supplied to the local authority and answering any queries.
• Assist in safer recruitment for the company such as organising and attending interviews, ensuring all safer recruitment processes are followed.
• Supporting the management team with completing documents as required, collating information for audits and tenders.
• Diary management for the senior management team, arranging meetings and training sessions.
• Sourcing and arranging maintenance and contractors as needed.
• Attending meetings to minute-take ensuring actions are assigned to those attending and sending these to the relevant attendees.
• General administrative tasks as required

Abilities and Qualities:
• Excellent time management skills and reliable.
• Ability to multi task while finding solutions to problems efficiently and effectively.
• Must have strong English communication skills both verbally and non-verbally.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent ability to record and interpret complex information, while ensuring the service delivered remains excellent.
• Committed to professional and self-development.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5pm

Holiday Entitlement:
28 annual leave days including Bank Holidays

Qualification Required:
None, experience necessary

Experience Required:
Previous experience within an administration role preferable.

Salary:
Dependent on experience

Full Driving Licence:
Ideal due to location and needs of the business
