Position: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible hours

Salary: £12.85 p/hr

We are currently seeking male support workers to join our compassionate and professional team supporting a young gentleman with autism, who is non-verbal and has sensory needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a service that is truly values-led and person-centred.

Our approach is guided by Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and a commitment to dignity, respect, and inclusion for all. We support individuals to live a full, happy life – and we support our staff to grow and thrive too.

About the Young Man
You'll Support Non-verbal with a diagnosis of autism and sensory processing needs
Enjoys photography, walking in the park, and trips to Starbucks
Needs a calm, structured, and consistent approach
May sometimes require support involving physical interventions (training provided)
What You’ll Do
Support daily routines and promote independence
Build a trusted relationship through consistency and compassion
Use proactive strategies to support emotional and behavioural needs
Celebrate achievements and enable him to pursue his interests and goals
Work in close partnership with families, professionals, and the wider LIFE team

What We’re Looking For
Experience working with individuals with autism and complex needs
Confidence and training in physical restraint (Full training given )
A calm, compassionate, and proactive personality
Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
