Crynodeb
This post holder will deliver autonomous clinical practice to anequivalent level of a Consultant Radiologist. The post holder willbe responsible for:1. The delivery of an integrated, responsive and effective BreastImaging diagnostic service2. Provide a consultant service and carry out an expert practitionerrole, which will involve invasive procedures, interpreting andreporting images, making a diagnosis and recommending furtheraction3. Provide clinical leadership of the team and ensure compliancewith national standards.4. The post holder will provide a person-centred approach to careand will seek to incorporate the user perspective in futuredevelopments; they will bring innovation and influence to enhancethe service and improve outcomes for patients. They will beresponsible for the progression of the department to meetincreasing demands on service provision and new imagingtechniques. They will collaborate with other professional groupsacross boundaries to provide consultant level clinical leadership.
