Crynodeb
To assist the nursing team with daily patient cares. Participate in admission and discharge of patients in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team as directed by a qualified nurse. Escort patients to and from other areas of the hospital Keep stock check of the ward and order supplies Report accidents/incidents to the nurse in charge Maintain confidentiality of all medical and nursing records Carry out observations and inform the nursing staff Communicate with patients and families in order to promote comfort and well-being throughout their stay Perform hoisting and transferring safely of a patient Apply brace and splints as necessary Support the care of all patients learning new orthopaedic skills Collect specimens Perform simple non aseptic dressings Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for further details
