Summary


It is an exciting time to join the haematology pharmacy team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are integral members of the haematology MDT and are expanding our roles in existing services such as the ambulatory care unit, haematology day unit and outpatient clinics. There will be opportunity to gain experience with CAR-T and other novel therapies.

We currently have a job share opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join the team. The post holder will play a key role in the development of services for haematology ambulatory and day unit patients. The post holder will also specialise in the haematology pharmacy services offered including autologous and allogeneic HSCT, CAR T therapy, ward based services.
• To manage and develop a high quality patient focused clinical pharmacy service to Clinical Haematology ambulatory care and day unit services.
• To work as an integral member of the haematology pharmacy team jointly providing a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to haematology patients, multidisciplinary team and provide highly specialist support to the wider pharmacy team in this area.
• To lead and provide expert advice on pharmaceutical matters within Clinical Haematology, ensuring adherence to national guidelines and medicines legislation.
• To facilitate and support the efficient and cost effective use of medicines with a particular emphasis on high cost drugs.
• To manage, develop, train, motivate and encourage staff working within the team.
