Do you have experience driving a loading shovel? 360, telehandler if so this is role for you! Must have own transport due to the location.
Working hours are 4 days on / 2 days off - 6am until 4:30pm OR 7:30am until 6pm. Salary £20ph.
You will be operating heavy machinery, a wheeled loading shovel or a 360-degree excavator to move and load materials.
Key duties include performing daily equipment checks, adhering to health and safety procedures, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting with site organisation, and reporting any defects or issues with the machinery.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a wheeled loading shovel or a 360-degree materials handler to move, load, and store materials, maintain the working area in a clean and tidy state, ensuring good housekeeping and organisation, adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others into hoppers,
Complete shift reports and operate basic weighbridge software to record inbound and outbound materials accurately.
Requirements & Skills
Proven experience operating a loading shovel or 360-degree excavator in a similar environment.
A valid operator card, such as a CPCS or NPORS, is often a requirement or a strong preference.
The ability to work in various weather conditions and perform duties that may require physical effort.
A strong commitment to health and safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from site supervisors.
