We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Professional Development Consultant to work within the University’s Student Services.

The University of Glasgow is committed to empowering students to identify and achieve their career goals and realize their full potential.

As a member of Careers, Employability & Opportunity, you will support the career planning and professional development of students (UG, PGT, PGR) and early-career graduates, delivering presentations, group activities, employer events, personalized 1:1 and group coaching via a variety of channels.

You will make a significant contribution to the successful graduate outcomes of our students by integrating careers and employability into the student experience.

This role would suit an experienced Careers Advisor or someone with experience in a similar role including in recruitment or training related to graduate employment. Also require is a good knowledge of student employability and graduate labour market, along with experience delivering careers and employability interventions.

This post is part time (21 hours per week) and fixed term for up to hard end date (31st July 2026).
