Crynodeb
1. To maintain a comprehensive radiological examination appointment system for the Department by ensuring all appointment requests are accurately input onto the x-ray system in a timely manner, in line with Trust and Government guidelines. 2. To undertake a comprehensive search of systems to cross reference patient examinations to ensure no duplicate requests are inputting and ensure patient demographic data is accurate. 3. Where appropriate, to ensure requests are verified by x-ray consultants and clinical leads prior to the appointing and providing print outs of previous reports to facilitate this process. 4. Take action as necessary to ensure patient DNAs are recorded and dealt with in line with Trust protocols. 5. To encompass and utilize new technologies as and when they become operational. 6. Regular communication with Wards, GPs and outpatients using written and verbal communication regarding servicing/breakdown of rooms etc, which will affect patient diagnosis. 7. Regular direct communication with GPs, Consultants, Ward and patients regarding diagnostic procedures whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. FULL JOB DESCRIPTION ATTACHED
