Crynodeb

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Team Leader to join our Plymouth team, working full time across our Plymouth Dental Education Facilities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will be responsible for managing a team of Dental Administrators to ensure they provide efficient and effective support. It is essential that you have demonstrable experience of managing the performance of individuals and teams, enjoy detailed work, have good communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. Previous experience of managing multi-site teams in an administrative role is desirable but not essential.
Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise (PDSE) is an award-winning Social Enterprise and Community Interest Company which provides NHS treatment and outreach services to local communities in Devon and Cornwall, and we work closely with the University of Plymouth’s Peninsula Dental School to support the clinical education of its dental healthcare students.
As a social enterprise, we are a values-driven organisation with a focus on patient-centred care and addressing local oral health needs.
This role includes:
• A starting salary of £28,802 per annum, rising to £32,260 on satisfactory completion of annual appraisals.
• 6.6 weeks holiday entitlement (pro rata), increasing after 5 years’ service. Payment for holiday is included within the annual salary. We also offer a holiday purchase scheme where you can buy up to two additional weeks holiday each year.
• Support with your learning and development, including access to online CPD platforms plus additional CPD at our two company Away Days each year. Our Learning & Development Framework may also inspire you to consider further career development.
• Access to the Scottish Widows pension scheme with generous employer contributions
• Support for your wellbeing, including access to our Employee Assistance Programme, as well as our new Health Plan where you can claim money back towards certain health expenses, and access gym discounts and more.
• Access to our Cycle to Work Scheme which operates via salary sacrifice
• Opportunities to contribute to company development through our dedicated ‘team talk’ channels
