SALARY: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor / Trusts and Estates Laywer who is STEP and Lifetime Lawyer accredited with some managerial experience.
Working as a Private Client Solicitor / Trusts and Estates Laywer you will be required to progress and manage client matters efficiently from instruction through to closure, ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
We are looking for someone with fresh ideas who wants to make their mark at the Firm.
Working as a Private Client Solicitor / Trusts and Estates Laywer you will work very closely with the CEO and Head of Private Client directly, with consideration of taking up the Head of Private Client role after successful completion of probation period.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Private Client Solicitor / Trusts and Estates Laywer will include:
Efficient Case Management: Progress and manage private client law matters efficiently from initial instruction through to closure, ensuring compliance with all professional and regulatory standards
Expert Legal Advice & Communication: Provide clear and concise legal advice on matters such as wills, probate, and trusts. Gather accurate instructions and maintain regular, transparent communication to keep private clients informed and manage their expectations effectively
Document Drafting: Draft, review, amend, and finalise critical legal documents—including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney with accuracy and attention to detail
Financial & Administrative Oversight: Bill private clients accurately and at appropriate intervals while maintaining case and financial records to ensure full transparency and compliance
Strategic Case Development: Contribute to the development of legal strategies for high-value or complex private client cases, ensuring bespoke and effective solutions for each client's unique circumstances
Business Development & Client Relations: Support the firm's business development initiatives by cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships. Where appropriate, contribute to marketing or thought-leadership content that showcases expertise in private client legal advice
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and effective supervision to junior solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Previous PQE, be STEP and Lifetime Lawyer accredited experience with some managerial experience
Demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and client care
Consistently meet agreed deadlines and deliverables
Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and professional obligations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all matters
Contribute positively to the firm’s reputation, culture, and client relationships
