Are you looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced food production environment? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Production Operatives at The Cake Crew. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our food manufacturing processes.
What will you be doing?
- Operating and monitoring food production machinery, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Handling raw materials and ingredients to prepare them for processing.
- Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes and production guidelines.
- Assisting in the packaging, labelling, and sealing of finished food products.
- Conducting quality checks and inspections to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and product quality.
- Following strict health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment to meet sanitation standards.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process.
What skills do you need?
- Previous experience in food production or a similar manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- A will do, can do attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- A desire to work in a multitude of roles throughout the production process.
- Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends. Opportunities for overtime are available, but voluntary.

- £12.21 - £13.70 per hour with regular reviews and opportunities for advancement.
