What you'll be doing

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Knowledge Exchange Manager to join our UK Parliament's Knowledge Exchange Unit (KEU). This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in how Parliament connects with the research community, helping to ensure Parliament has access to high-quality, timely evidence.

In this varied role, you'll lead and contribute to initiatives that strengthen Parliament's relationships with researchers and universities. From managing researcher engagement opportunities and coordinating expert requests from across Parliament, to supporting academic fellowships and developing innovative engagement activities, your work will be at the heart of parliamentary democracy.

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.

What we're looking for.

  • Ability to create mutually beneficial and impactful knowledge exchange solutions by using sound judgment and leveraging your understanding of research Ability to build strong, purposeful relationships with both researchers and research users.
  • You have experience of writing online copy, such as for web or professional-standard mailouts, to promote audience engagement.
  • You are able to manage and deliver multiple discrete projects at the same time, and to strict deadlines, using your excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • You are able to use your excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels.
  • You have experience of enabling successful knowledge exchange between researchers and research users.
