We are searchingforamotivatedandproactive Senior Administratortoenable and organisethe Psychological Professions Workforce and Trainingteam andoperations.In this role, you will contribute totheunderstanding andshapingofthe psychological professionsby managing functions associated withworkforce developmentand training.



Tohelp us deliverthe best service possible, we need someonewith apractical,self-organised andpositiveapproachtoundertakingthefull range of administrative tasksrequired. You should haveexperience in the development andmaintenanceofdata systems,communication channels, and coordination ofwork, with akeenattention todetail andtimelines.Youwillenjoyworkingin a small teamwhile also being able toengage with professionals and managers across the Trust.


Asa key member of our team, you will work alongside professional leadsand the wider Learning and Development team. You will have responsibility fortheessential administrative processesanddata systemsthat ensureaccurateworkforce information,enableseamless management oftrainingplacements andinitiatives,andprovide meaningfulreporting.You will also support the logistical arrangementsassociated with the work, and make suredeliveryisaccurateandtimely.





• Developing andmaintainingcohesive systems for workforce data, job descriptions, and training analysis

• Managing communications, including overseeing Teams channels and internet pages

• Organising, coordinating, and reporting on psychological training placements for postgraduate students, doctorate trainees, and post-qualification development

• Arranging meetings, working groups, and events while producing minutes and reports

• Liaising with key stakeholders to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and training requirements

• Take a proactive role in service improvement initiatives byidentifyingopportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness, proposing solutions, and contributing to their successful implementation.

The “must haves” for this role:

1. Proven experience in business or administrative roles, such as PA, Secretary, orAdministrator,demonstratinga high levelof organisational and coordination skills.

1. Previousdemonstrable knowledge and experience of a range of business and administration functions,including data analysis.

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders-including psychological professionals, trainees,managersandexternal training providers

1. Excellent knowledge and experiencein a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), as well as electronic systems such asRiO, ESR, and Dragon Software. You will utilise these tools to manage workforce data, training records, communications, and reporting, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient administration across psychological professions training and workforce development.
