Summary
Community care for elderly people living within their own homes. Carers visit people 1-4 times a day to support with their everyday routines. Broken down into two shifts of the day: morning and lunch OR tea and bedtime. This includes supporting people with personal care such as washing, showering, dressing and medication administration.
Our care teams also visit and support people who have just returned home from hospital, enabling them to regain their skills and mobility once they're home.
Trained and experienced care staff visit and deliver care support from property to property for elderly people who live in their own homes.
Applicants must have experience or relevant transferable skills to be considered for this role. due to the nature of the job being house to house, applicants MUST drive with use of your own vehicle.
Support includes:
Medication administration, food preparations, personal care, continence support including convenes and catheters, washing/dressing and getting dressed ready for the day or overnight.
Care team members work on either solo on single handed visits requiring one carer or double handed calls working with a colleague.
Shifts available:
6.30am-14:30pm
15.00pm-22:30pm.
Monday - Friday
People need carers every day of the week; carers are required to therefore work alternating weekends or one day every weekend with allocated day(s) off in the week.
