Role: Social Work Assistant
Location: Castle Donington Hub / East and West Midlands Regions
Anchor Foster Care is currently recruiting a full time Social Work Assistant to work in the specified areas.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Work Assistant to join our fostering team. You will play a key part in ensuring the stability of foster placements by providing a range of support services in line with, Fostering Regulations, National Standards and agency policies. Your work will help safeguard the welfare of children and promote positive outcomes for both foster families and the young people in their care.
In this vital role, you will support a reduced caseload of foster families under the supervision and guidance of a qualified social worker.
This role offers potential for career progression. You’ll benefit from ongoing professional training, regular reflective supervision, and access to relevant development opportunities as and when they arise, that will support your growth and progression within the field.
You will work from home and the hub in Castle Donington. It is essential that you can drive as the work will require a considerable amount of travelling to and from our foster families’ homes and other places.

We offer a comprehensive salary, Private Health insurance, essential car user package and rewards package to staff, and a reward scheme of up to £1000 for referring foster families to the agency.
