We require an ambitious candidate who will provide excellence in helping develop this rapidly changing and important service. We are keen to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in Oncology to join our team of 23 Clinical Oncologists and 2 Medical Oncologists at the UHCW NHS Trust, ie the Arden Cancer Centre, serving Coventry and the adjoining Cancer Units at South Warwickshire Foundation Trust (SWFT), George Eliot Hospital (GEH), Stratford Rigby Unit and Rugby Maple Unit.

Main duties of the job
This post is based at the ward 35, Acute Oncology Assessment Bay and the Outpatient Facility at the at the Arden Cancer Centre, within the UHCW at Coventry.
To support the Oncology department based at the Arden Cancer Centre, within the UHCW, to assist in providing comprehensive medical service to patients across the Oncology services at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.The Post-holder will have the opportunity to work across Acute Oncology Services, inpatient (ward 35), outpatient and day case environments, supported and supervised by consultant oncologists.
The post holder will be expected to support the needs of the service and in order to integrate themselves fully into the clinical team, with access to governance and educational sessions which are primarily on the University Hospital (Coventry) site.
