• The post-holder will provide clinical services including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of outcomes and the provision of clinical supervision, consultation and training.
• The post holders will also contribute to service evaluation, research and policy development. There are many opportunities available within the service in relation to continued professional development.
• We particularly welcome applications from Black and Ethnic Minority candidates as they are currently under-represented within the team at this level.

• Assessment and management of young people with eating disorders
• Assessment and management of common comorbidities including depression, anxiety, self-harm and OCD
• Contribution to audit and research
• Contribution to service development and service management
• Provision of clinical supervision, consultation and training to other professionals

About our location:
Maudsley Hospital (headquarters)
Our Trust headquarters is located at Denmark Hill less than 5 minutes from the train station (zone 2) and is within walking distance from the beautiful green spaces of Ruskin park and the vibrant high-street that offers great shopping opportunities and with a wide range of restaurants. (Due to move to the Pears Maudsley Children and Young People (PMCYP) at the Maudsley Hospital in late 2025/early 2026)

Flexible working:
As one of the few Trusts in London we are proud to offer flexible working as part of our new ways of working, and we are happy to talk flexible working at the interview stage. In this role you will be able to work Monday to Friday in the time frames from 9am to 5pm giving you the very best of good work life balance. This may include working early mornings or late evenings and some Saturdays as part of the core working hours/working pattern for this post.

• To contribute to specialist multi-disciplinary eating disorder assessment and treatment.
• To directly provide therapy, assessment, consultation and treatment, taking responsibility for managing own caseload, while sharing case responsibility and treatment care with professionals from within CAMHS and across partnership agencies such as Children’s Services.
• To be responsible for supporting the clinical team in implementing Directorate and Trust initiatives at service level and for playing a key role in monitoring and evaluating the quality of care delivered locally.
• To be responsible for working independently and managing a caseload of clients, ensuring safe and effective clinical practices.
