Hours: 36 per week
Stenhouse Early Years Centre work with children aged 0-3 years and their families to promote early learning and childcare with high quality play being at the heart of their learning and development.
We are now seeking to recruit a passionate and committed Senior Early Years Officer to join our team on a permanent basis as we continue to develop our service. The successful candidate will have proven experience in an Early Years setting and relevant experience of working with parents and carers.
You must have an HNC Childcare & Education or equivalent. In addition to this you must have or be working towards Level 9 SCQF or BA in Childhood Practice.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
